I bought the Audi A3 40 e TFSI equivalent of the GTE 6 weeks ago and can thoroughly recommend it. I found the more user friendly buttons on the infotainment better than the Golf e-hybrid I tried.
The finance went through quickly and Audi seem to have a lot of cars available for quick delivery.
You’re right about the efficiency of the electric motor/battery set up. For local trips I can see between 70 and 80 miles on a charge.

Did you add Adaptive DCC? I’ve got it so I’m not sure what part of the Individual settings are only available with DCC.

As for best settings - there can’t possibly be “best” ones. What sort of road? What is your driving style? What are your preferences?

If I want to have some fun on a twisty road, I’ll stick everything to sport and max out the dampening stiffness. Otherwise I’m generally happy with it in Comfort setting and I just put the gearbox in S if I want to for example overtake pretty quickly.

The other setting I’ve grown to like is putting the brake regen on high. This basically enables one pedal driving whereby if you lift off the accelerator, you begin so slow down quite quickly. I got used to it very fast and enjoy it.
