The new ABRP version supports OBD dongle integration for eGolf.. Should make better experience with ABRP..

The bit that worries me is the huge warning on the web page linked above
The bit that says First : A big fat security WARNING
yes .. that is true .. BUT ... my OBD will get powered off not long after I powered down the car .. also bluetooth range aren't that big .. so there's very limited chance that someone hook in to your car via the dongle ..

I just wish that bluetooth device makers came up with different pin number (other than "0000")

My understanding is that there is a huge difference between cars/manufacturers. It depends on the PID's that are available for reading and/or have been identified (by the hackers).

I have seen a comparison between two Kia's (my Soul and an e-Niro), and there was a substantial difference between the various PID's that were available.

You can easily compare them on your own. In CarScanner, just create a different profile with any car that is available. Then use Demo mode and scroll the available sensors.
