I had the battery recall fix done to my e2008 I the middle of last year (having owned it from new from April of last year) however since the my range has dropped dramatically I only get around 60-70 miles from one charge.
Is anyone else else experiencing this issue? I am awaiting my 3d cockpit display to be replaced but I don't think the issue is related to that...

According to A Better Route Planner leaving Newcastle with 100% requires just two short charging stops in the e2008 - McDonalds Newton Instavolt for 9 mins (74% to 84%) and then 23 mins at Ionity Leeds Skelton Lake (24% to 78%). The e208 would do it with one 16 minute charging stop near Leeds.

We have an e208 - same battery, same motor, slightly longer range/more efficient as smaller but otherwise identical. You need to start ignoring range and start focusing instead on miles per kWh. On ours the miles/kWh reading can be found in the trip meter (long term average, what you are doing right now and current trip). Left thumb wheel on our steering wheel and it appears in the 3D dash - when yours is replaced. Your battery has 45kW of power when full. If you are doing 3 miles/kWh on your trip meter it will travel 45x3=135 miles. You will be able to watch the effect of rain, wind, hills, driving over 70mph and get instant feedback. Your long term average miles/kWh will drop significantly in winter or with repeated short journeys from cold. For long journeys where you need all the range suggest you pre heat the car before leaving and top the battery to near 100% from your home charger with aircon remotely started with the app for 30 mins before departure (or sit on a rapid with heating on). This will warm the cabin but importantly it will warm the battery. cold cabin (say 2 degrees C) and cold battery can use 10% of the battery in just a handful of miles until it warms. If you do this from cold without pre heating on a charger a few times a day you can see how the range will drop like a stone in cold weather.

A better Route Planner is good as you can plan the journey and it will tell you if you can make it and where you might need to charge. I normally set it to leave 15% battery for a charge stop so I have enough to move to another charger if not working.

All the smaller EVs, with exception of Hyundai Ioniq, have the aerodynamics of a brick. Add to that the cold temperature makes your tyres a bit stiffer & harder to turn, damp/wet roads are a lot harder to get a tyre through as has to pump water continually also there are extra molecular bonds between water & tyres holding you back, the need for more cabin heating etc, so if you want to get a decent winter range it's a good idea to stick to lorry speeds, and even shelter behind an HGV or two. Nice if you have radar-controlled ACC to do the tracking for you as well. Wind drag forces go up with the square of your speed, so travelling appx 10% faster costs you 20% increase in drag force, so that's 20% more electricity used to overcome the wind losses, even if everything else stays pretty similar.

Range is shocking, I have a brand-new e-2008 and find the range is appalling. I can drive 300m and lose 12 miles on the clock. This week for example, on Monday, I charged the car to 177m and by Tuesday afternoon it was at 131m and when I got in the car today it was at 116m. Now its at 110. HOW can 16m go off the clock when the car is off and parked overnight?? Monday, I did 6.5m, Tuesday 4and 3.2m today, A total of 14.5m and yet 77m has gone off the clock. (Pics 4 and 5), I’m having to drive with no heating on, no radio, no satnav, no daytime running lights, and in eco-mode and re-gen braking on. I have been driving this car dressed like an Eskimo to keep warm, yet the mileage is just evaporating away. I have it booked in a Peugeot and have told them that I’m not happy with the vehicle

Hi i have the same issue on my 2022 E-2008 when i got the car New it was 211 on 100% not i get 185/186 reported to the dealer they said it down to the weather which i disproved as March2023 was colder than march 2024 and i had taken a screen shot off the app when i got the car

all the dealer ship said is no error log recorded . which i stated would a issue on the battery even show as it working and charging

the range dropped after they did the software recall for Drive Train late 2023 car in the dealer now waiting to see what they say -

ill be lucky to get 100 mile out of the car on full 100% as it drops off like nobody's business even when sat over night come back and it down 10mile some days

luckly it a lease and if they can fix it will get the lease company to swap the car as not fit for purpose :)

Ignore the milage range, people call it a "guess-o-meter' for a reason. Just look at the gauge that shows if its full, 3/4, 1/2 full etc. or put the dash on 'personal 1 or 2' whichever one shows the battery %.

Loving ours so far, looks like range will be 150-180 miles depending on conditions but the cabin is so quiet and the ride so smooth there's a limousine like quality to it, and I do think they look great (inside and out) too.

Oh, just remembered, when we picked ours up the tires were all around mid-20 psi, inflating to the correct (36 I think?) figure on the label inside the door definitely improved the range.

On the infotainment screen: Select settings (2 cogs icon) > options > instrument panel personalisation, to changed display options for personal 1 & 2 on the dash display.

When new, 2022, I would regularly get 205 miles on a full charge. 12m later (and still same today) typically 100% gives 175-180. In reality, nearer 150 miles but I do drive conservatively - driving at 70-80mph rarely gives any tangible benefit to overall journey time.

The e-3008 looks promising, at 300+ miles, but I don't like the idea of a £10K price hike. Will consider the Renault Scenic when looking to change, and noticeably lower in cost for up to 370 mile range.
