Hi all,

We have a 2017 30kW Tekna.

I accidentally put a CD into the player whilst there was already a CD in there and somehow the second CD has completely vanished!

I tired putting a credit card into the slot to feel anything but it's vanished.

The player still accepts CD's and plays and ejects normally.

Where's the CD gone? It must be in the player somewhere because it took the disc smoothly with the motor system.

Cheers,

Steve

Do you know anywhere locally with some really steep hills? You might be able to get it to pop out the first one while driving up one and pressing the eject button :)

I'd think you'd have to remove the whole CD unit to find out where it's gone. It it a player with a cd tray or no tray? I think you may end up messing about with tweezers and a torch to see in and try and get an edge of the first cd.

Cheers for the suggestions, I think it's well and truly jammed.

I actually pulled the console trim off by gripping the bottom and pulling forward firmly, comes off nice and clean actually.

Next fun and games will be, if I disconnect the radio, will it reset or have any problems when I reconnect it. Who knows!

Got it out! It was posted between the metal top of the radio and the CD unit in the radio. Nissan quote ÂŁ120, DIY free.

Pulled the console trim (handle at bottom) and unplug hazards cable, 4 screws to release radio, open radio screen tilt, undo two side bracket screws, undo 4 radio fascia screws, gently press in plastic clips pull of fascia then pull out the CD, put back in reverse and got a chance to clean crease dust and grime.

Winner.
