When turning around only, noise seems to be coming from drivers far side front suspension, 17 plate 38k, suppose it's rare doing a u turn anti clockwise but noticed it in car park other day.

Anything to be concerned about?

The spline problem you're thinking of is a single click when you go onto power and a single click when you go into regen. This click will occur whether going straight ahead or turning.

The clicking described in the original post is only while turning and if it's a continuous clicking while turning then it will be the outer CV joint.

Worth reading some other threads on this, as they may help:

There would have to be a lot of play in the CV joints accompanied by noises when they turn the shaft by hand for it to be an MOT failure. There's no way for them to know otherwise.

Mine still makes an occasional light click but not the harsher noise when going on and off the power. I wonder whether it is the brake pads moving because the pistons are retracted by the abs system when you set off.
The reason for this theory is that sometimes when I have to use the footbrake at the bottom of a hill, nothing happens until the pedal has been moved a lot further than normal - as if the slack is being taken up. My Guilietta and Brera had a 'prefill' feature which made sure the pads are against the disc as you first move the pedal. (there is normally some clearance to prevent the pads & discs being polished by light contact)

Clicking CV probably wont fail an MOT, however if it is a clicking CV, its probably clicking because the boot has split, and the grease has escaped and water/grit has got in, and a split boot will fail an MOT.

Was it clicking constantly while turning/applying power? Or just when turning the wheel?

Mine has been making an intermittent clicky noise when turning the steering, most noticable when turning out of my driveway with the window open, i suspect its the top mount bearing. Nissan didnt notice when they serviced it though

@Ash77 , this thread may help. I had a similar problem recently which was sorted very quickly during a service.
