Comfort update or Version 2 update

Took my car in today for two safety updates I believe for the windows and battery.

Whilst booking I asked them as it was in could they apply the comfort update for me. Nothing was said about cost so kept quiet.

Sure enough I’ve collected the car, they’ve done it all and they have done what they called “version 2” update and said it’s been applied because I bought the car from them.

So it’s a lot quieter and now I have a gentler start bong. In fact I think it’s the only bong I heard. And I don’t know if it’s my eyes but I felt the screen display looked sharper some how when listening to music on Apple CarPlay.

Anything else I should be aware of in that update?

Well done - I had to pay £90 for mine.

Check the display in front of you - mies remaining should be in bottom left where clock used to be. Clock now on right, top of infotainment screen and next to it should be the temperature (different size font though grrrr).

In settings the auto high beam should now have an on/off function and it should default to off.

Enjoy

Took my car in for updates on Monday. On completion I was asked to sign 2 separate service sheets. Work was described by service code rather than in English but I understood one sheet referred to the comfort update and the other comprised wiring loom, HV fuse and BMS update. Since I bought the car from this dealer and intend to use them for servicing I was not charged for any of these updates (even the comfort one).

As far as I can tell all has been successful. I have had to reset radio stations, Bluetooth and other settings but am now seeing the displays and behaviours that others have described.

The only thing that is not as I expected is that I still have to lock the car for home charging to initiate, and charging stops as soon as I unlock. I thought one of the behaviours of the BMS update was that fast and granny charging commenced and continued whether car was locked or not. Did I mis-understand this or is it likely that the latest BMS update has not been properly applied?
