Dash cam and DAB interference

My insurer offers a discount if I have a dash cam. I've found this at Halfords which is massively reduced from it's original price and seems to have acceptable reviews:

I would hardwire to the fusebox via a piggyback connector.

I'm aware that dash cams can interfere with DAB radio reception. I listen to DAB radio a lot and don't want this!

Does anyone have experience of dash cams, ideally this one in particular, in the Passat GTE? May I run into problems?

Many thanks

I’ve got this one - front and rear camera. I listen to DAB all the time with no issues.

Fitted a Nextbase to my Skoda Octavia and it killed the DAB reception on a Pure adapter.

I narrowed it down to the 12V USB adapter. I found an Anker adapter, with a metal casing that solved the problem.

Thank you all for the feedback.

Can those who've done it suggest a fuse to use for the piggyback? I imagine that the choice of circuit can be a factor in minimising potential interference and if you've had success then I'd like to benefit from your experience.

I'd like one that's switched. Although the camera claims to ensure that it won't fully drain the battery, I'm not comfortable in believing it - I'd rather the power went off with the ignition.

Thanks again.
