e208's have had similar issues. 8000km is funnily enough 4970 miles plus 650 and its about your mileage. Our service indicator was reading out as miles but measuring kilometres. Common PSA fault and dealer reset it. The App still thinks we have missed a service though do I just entered it manually. 🙃

 

If I remember right while the car is off you press and hold the button on the end of the wiper and then press the power button keeping the wiper button pressed will pop up saying it will reset and give a count down

I asked the garage what this button was for and they said it was for resetting the service light but did not explain how to use it. Have not found any other use for the button and the manual says nothing about it.

 

Tried the above suggestions to no avail. May pop into dealer next time I'm out. Otherwise I'll just ignore it for the next 3 months or so.
