Iberdrola and Wenea in Spain are showing up in Electroverse map today. Their UK-equivalent networks (ScottishPower and Wenea UK) don't have their chargepoints listed on the Electroverse maps as partner networks, for reasons unknown to us.

 

Just checked on the Electroverse website and showing both Iberdrola and Wenea in Spain? Maybe a glitch yesterday? They arent listed in filters though, so you can't specifically filter for them.

 

My experience is that the Electroverse app and website often have times where chargers disappear, only to come back after a short period of time and/or a filter re-set. The app still has several errors though, and despite reporting them, they're still not fixed

 

Octopus seem to love to use 3rd parties for a lot of this stuff. We get the same on the Skoda charging app. The 3rd party does something (rename, or status drops or something) which stops the data coming over for the CPO and they disappear from the map. They still work in reality with the RFID card but very frustrating.

 

To be fair, between the Electroverse and VW's We Charge card, the coverage in the bits of the EU I've driven in was pretty comprehensive, especially when combined with the very good Tesla app to use their wonderful chargers at the open-to-all locations

 

Thanks all for your replies. I can confirm that neither Ibedrola nor Wenea feature in the filters, not useful when I only want to show just Wenea! We went 'all electric' September '22 and used only Ibedrola 50kw @ 42p per kw or Wenea 50kw @ mostly free or at worst 40p per kw and ALL WORKING!! When we go mid September then the Wenea app will be the most reliable to use......and cheaper......42 cents, at present!!

 

I have been doing lots of research on charging in France (rapid 50kwh predominantly) and 1 that seems to stand out more than most is Freshmile. Best though to sign up direct (35 cents per kwh rapid 50kwh) as Electroverse don't show them as 'partners' and only a handful available on the map. There are in fact 100s throughout France, except around The Pyrenees!!! If travelling further afield say into Spain then Wenea (again direct) is the way to charge (42 cents per kw on rapid 50). I'm off next week to Spain doing our last Portsmouth to Bibao return, but getting soooo expensive now!! Next year we will do Newhaven to Dieppe.....our old favourite and charge at Freshmile and Wenea

 

Recently returned from a 2 week trip to France. Was unimpressed with the Electroverse card. It basically only worked on Ionity for me.

The rest of the time I used Chargemap (on Lidl chargers and various others).

 

That is strange... I almost exclusively used Electroverse in France (June'23). Did you use the app or the card?
