Eon and Nissian Connect. Turn off charge

Hi

I've only had my Aryia for 2 months. Love it apart from the Connect App. Anyway Eon next have started a new tariff. They will decide when its cheapest throughout the day to charge the car.

But it works with the Nissian Connect app but I need to turn off the charging in the app.

I plug the car in and its automatically starts charging.

The only way you can stop is by setting up charging schedule.

Long story short. How can you default the car not to charge on the Nissian Connect application?

Thanks

Hey @Crazyfj, it sounds like you're trying to get that new Eon Next tariff to sync up nicely with your Ariya, but the Nissan Connect app's tendency to start charging immediately is getting in the way. When you tried setting up a charging schedule to prevent this, what was the main challenge or specific outcome you ran into? Sharing a bit more about what happened might help others here figure out a solution!

Not sure if EON smart works the same way as Inteligent Octopus GO - they both use the same Kraken back end.

This is for IOG.
Timer should be turned off in both the car and wall box.
When you plug a car in using IOG it starts to charge immediately, this is because you could be plugging in at the supermarket so you would want it to continue.
Periodically Octopus checks the car's location using the car GPS, if it sees that you are charging at home it then sends the customised charging schedule to the car so it should stop. [ Does this happen if you wait? ], This electricity is charged as full price as not scheduled.

Integration via the wallbox is more reliable, as it does not rely on communication with the car.
