Hidden Turtle mode or more accurately Lazy Donkey Mode ;-)
Was down to 7% on the way to the rapid charger today Big Red “Low Battery Warning” was blocking the entire display to let me know
Was in sport mode and decided to make sure battery was nice and warm for the rapid charge.
Gave it some beans Power Meter Shot up to 100% as usual. But no real urgency in the acceleration
Tried a few times and it was like being in a cross between Eco and Comfort. Still good pull off the line but then fades away
So seems like the Tesla the Konas power is really restricted when in the last 10% just that there is no on screen warming ( well apart from the big red battery on the centre consoles screen)
Would be interesting to find out what the power restriction is and if it gets more severe even lower
Felt like driving the 88hp Zoe with the amount of power it had
Not yet pushed it far enough to get to real turtle mode
But seems Lazy Donkey Mode is there from 7%
