is that one not repairable, doesn't look to have any ICs that have code embedded? have you had it under a uv black light to see any possible failure points?

 

I've just added these photos for reference, I don't actually have one, I need one to make the charger work, I'd even take a generic one if anyone has any thoughts ?

 

If you bought a charger that didn't originally have one installed, then surely they just deactivate it for you?

What kind of charger is it? Socket/Type-1 tethered/Type-2 tethered?

od-Point with 2 faulty circuit boards, a 2016 and a 2019, we've managed to bring the 2019 board back to life with a new capacitor and a new relay, but it won't actually charge a car with out the Bender Board. Hope that makes sense?

Stevie, I glanced at my bender board ( ) yesterday, and it has three leads. Presumably + & - supply plus output. Have you tried linking the output to either plus or minus, to see if that does the trick?

Do you have the Case & car-cable/socket of the Podpoint? If you're trying to ressurect a broken Podpoint, you have the option of ditching the PCB + relays on it, and install a Viridian Controller, commercial Contactor and maybe an RCBO/whatever safety bits are needed. There's a guy here in UK who repairs broken Podpoints this way, and I upgraded my Rolec using a Viridian Controller, same end result.
