Hi, I've bought a 2019 Pod Point Circuit Board but it needs a Benvac Bender Board to make it work, I spoke to Pod Point and they are not willing to supply me with one, nor are they will to remotely switch off the need for the Bender Board for safety reasons so I need to try and find a second hand one or I need an authorised Pod Point installer to order one from Pod Point for me. Can anyone help ?
Steve

Hi Sandy, I bought a socket P

od-Point with 2 faulty circuit boards, a 2016 and a 2019, we've managed to bring the 2019 board back to life with a new capacitor and a new relay, but it won't actually charge a car with out the Bender Board. Hope that makes sense?

Steve.

digi-key ?

Do you have the Case & car-cable/socket of the Podpoint? If you're trying to ressurect a broken Podpoint, you have the option of ditching the PCB + relays on it, and install a Viridian Controller, commercial Contactor and maybe an RCBO/whatever safety bits are needed. There's a guy here in UK who repairs broken Podpoints this way, and I upgraded my Rolec using a Viridian Controller, same end result.
