I've sent a request for this new app, I'm a bit fed up of trying to manage the charge myself to hit the Octopus Go slot and not overrun.

Let us know how you get on, I did the same but they’re finalising the new app and so couldn’t be added as yet.
All moved over today, they initiated a migration early in the week, had to leave it a few days then rescan and set up. Had a small problem but support sorted it - haven't tested it yet, but the scheduling looks good. Only problem is I've now moved over to Intelligent Octopus so no idea how they work together!

I’m on IO with the Indra.
it’s possible the Indra would want to smart charge or schedule charge at different times to IO.
I set my % and ready time on Octopus app, plug in and then a few minutes later when the. Charge schedule shows on the Octopus app I press boost in the Indra app. That way the Indra always delivers charge when the car wants it.
Could possibly achieve the same via schedules ro default settings, but what I do works.

My Indra Smart Charger that I got installed by Egg has a message on the app saying “Service interruption message - Please note that there is currently a 3rd party provider issue which has created a service outage affecting control of your Indra charger. This started at 10am on Friday 24th of March. Our teams are working hard to resolve this as quickly as possible.”

Has anyone else got this?
Normally I can use the app to raise an incident with Egg but I can’t do anything except see the message. A bit alarming 😔

Yes, I think the issue is on Kaluza's side but it seems a long time for it to be down. I'm wondering if it's fixed but Indra haven't yet removed the redirect to the error page. The error page didn't appear till late Friday afternoon. Hopefully it'll be back to normal tomorrow as it's forecast to be sunny and I'll have plenty of excess solar energy to pump into the car, but only if I can switch on solar matching.

There's an update to the error status this morning. There's still an issue and it seems that it's down to a third party used by Kaluza. There's still no access to change settings. Fortunately charging still works, and at the cheap Ovo rate, but there's no control over when it happens or when the car needs to be ready by. Unfortunately this lovely sunshine is going to waste today.

I got an email from Indra saying they are working with a 3rd party to try and get this resolved. I am not on Ovo but Octopus Go and I don’t think the scheduler will work. Luckily my car is over 90% and I am not planning any long journeys anytime soon.
I had an email today from Egg saying there will be a new app coming soon so maybe this is linked somehow?

@GordonWT if you plug your car in overnight, it will likely still charge it up in the usual "smart" way, but there will be no way to set a "ready by" time. You'd have to set up a charging schedule in the car itself to make sure it can only charge during the cheaper hours. The issue of course is that if your cheaper rate is between 12.30am and 4.30am, it might only start charging at 3.30am and only give you an hour. Fingers crossed this issue is resolved before you find out - but it's already been 3 days and that's a long time for systems to be down in this day and age.

Another update at 7.30pm. They have a temporary workaround which should allow most users to charge on schedules tonight. The message will disappear between 9pm and 9am to allow this to happen. Another announcement coming tomorrow morning.
I don't see any messages when I log into either the app or the web interface. Can you give me a clue to where to look? Thanks

Mine is flashing purple (4 flashes) which I think is a comms problem. Have rebooted it several times now to no avail.
I can’t boost charge either, so it’s completely useless today. Typical, I need to charge, but can’t!

Mine's gone offline again. Anyone else got this? It's been behaving a bit strangely today with solar matching switched on - it'll charge for anything from a couple of minutes to an hour, and then stop randomly, despite there being plenty of excess solar. Today it stopped at 12.30pm when the solar output was nearly at its peak, and nothing else of note drawing power in the house. I'll see if Indra can find out anything from their logs.
