Intelligent Octopus device (car) disappeared from app?

This is a strange one. My car (Tesla) disappeared from the Octopus app. I was using IO smart charging yesterday.

But today (~12:10 to now) I no longer see the device tab in the app and the profile -> device screen only shows "Add a device". It seems my device that I've previously linked have completely disappeared.

Anyone else experienced this? Is it a server glitch that will resolve itself or do I need to re-add my device?

Is your Octopus app showing the devices tab right now?

Same for me, no “Device” tab/menu present on iOS/Android - the car has gone. Main menu has an option to ‘Get started’ in the Intelligent Octopus for EVs part of Explore our lab.
The intention was to schedule a charge for tomorrow as there’s no solar to rely upon and the house battery levels are getting low, looks like it will have to be manual setup for charging.

Thank you. Might be a momentary glitch server-side. Hopefully everything is back in a few hours.

The Devices tab is back, but the wind turbine is continuously spinning. I guess it's just server glitch on the back end, all linked device is still linked and will be restored soon.

This is the thing with cloud services: they are unreliable. Thankfully my need for tomorrow can be recharged during the 6 hour off-peak period. May be this is why they are still giving off-peak periods.

I used that IO specific HA integration for a few weeks before finding the same thing in the "standard" (from HACS standard repo) Octopus Energy integration. The inability to reload that IO integration made it harder to use, with standard Octopus Energy integration when I see problem I can quickly reload it.

But I only got "server error" when trying to turn on smart charging. Whereas you are saying the IO specific integration were updating itself properly.

My Devices tab used to "This is a beta product use your Ohme app to control charging" now it just shows a spinning wind turbine.
My car has disappeared from the Ohme app, I wonder if there is some tie up?

IO has been fine for me for over a year now, only issue I've had it finished charging once at 09:15 when I'd set the departure for 09:00, no big deal, I've saved a lot as I also do washing and drying during the cheap rate as well.

I think that's the case for Ohme. The page is just there to show Ohme is connected with your Octopus account.

My "Devices" tab is now back on the Octopus app without the spinning wind turbine.
However it still says "We're still in Beta. For now you'll need to go to your Ohme app to control your EV charging".
So nothing seems to have changed!

Yes, that's what it's supposed to say if you're using Ohme integration.

I did the test charge on the last day of my GO fixed rate ended (7.5p/35p back when IO was 40p), and I was switched on the day.

One for you Ohme owner: Is it pronounced Oh-Me or Ohm as in the resistor unit?

Went to charge last night and noticed the same. No devices tab along the bottom of the octopus app. Went into account and under devices there was just the option to add a new device and my car had disappeared. It was 11pm so decided just to pop it onto charge anyway.

It actually worked as 'normal' in that after a few minutes the charge stopped then it started again around 2 till 6 and an extra bit between 7-7:30. Still no devices listed in the app this morning.

Fine for last night as the default 80% by 8am was what was required but it would be good to get the devices tab back so that adjustments can be made. Don't know if it's best to just wait or try to add my car again or maybe reinstall the octopus app.

Seems like everyone else has just waited it out so will give it a few days.

I’m not convinced my IO charge settings were followed last night. My ID3 was updated to the latest software version of 3.2 and now when I get out of the car, the option to set:
"Charge immediately to 80%" or
"Use preferred time"
has disappeared.
I plugged the car in and it started to charge, as expected, but it didn’t stop. So I stopped the charge and went into the charge settings in the car and added a location charge time of 00:30 to 04:30 (the old Go tariff times). The options for charging reappeared, so I set it to charge immediately, as I had on the first successful IO charge that had been done a few days ago.
I locked the car and the charging light on the charge port started to pulse green, exactly as had happened on the first successful IO charge.
The car charged but the start and stop times recorded by the Tronity app were 00:30 and 02:00. This is making me think that it has followed the time I set in the car’s charge schedule.
I’m confused!

It's been a few days now and the devices tab still hasn't returned on the octopus app. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but that didn't change anything. Is there a dedicated IO forum. Tried to Google but couldn't find one. Otherwise I might have to get in touch with octopus customer services to see if they have any ideas. Just aware they can be a bit hit and miss depending on who you get.

Octopus apo not working again, on my tablet I get a Devices tab but it won't display anything just a windmill icon, on my phone it does open but but doesn't display ant scheduling info, been like this for over a week, still charging the car OK so it's not causing a problem at the moment.

I've been having different problem with Octopus app over last 3-4 days. In devices tab, I click enable smart charging and although interface changes, it never assigns slots. I then force-quit the app, on re-opening the app, I see the same "enable smart charging" button.
(I keep it turned off to charge my Tesla on solar)

Last night I gave up, I disconnected my Tesla, re-done the car test charge. Now everything works as expected.

I counted, problem started about 65 days from my sign up to IO. So I suspect Octopus app to Tesla OAuth was broken and it was failing silently.

Had no Device Tab on my pixel 6 phone. Tried deleting the cache and reinstalling the app which didn't help. When contacted octopus they replied saying my car was linked. Still I deleted the device from the app and reconnect the car and tested connection. After good 15min the connection was successfully and now I have the device tab and smart charging time displayed.
My car is Tesla M3

Out of interest, when did you do the previous test connection with your Tesla vehicle?

I have a suspicion it needs doing on a regular basis as keys expire.

With my BMW i3, IO stopped recognising my car about three weeks ago. It's failed to pickup the car connection five times in a row now, and I've had to resort to either the in-car charge timer or my (PodPoint) charger timer. Given I've been in a very slow email conversation with Octopus I'm disappointed at the lack of info on this, especially as I've eliminated every tech hurdle I can at my end of things. Now my car has disappeared from the app. Hey ho, try and restart the process again...
Update;- same evening I restarted the tariff, and as part of that had to resign in the app to my car. That made me realise I had changed my BMW app password, so of course the Octopus app link has to be reset. All ok now..!!
