Not that I know of. There is a front facing camera but that is used for reading speed limit signs. I expect your wife found the button to switch on the rear facing cam.

Seems a waste to me, the front and rear cameras should be usable like dashcams.

 

The Kona model year you mention definitely don’t have that functionality. You can however drive along showing the rear view camera on the infotainment screen by pressing the button next to the passenger side heated seat switch.

 

I call this "function" SPV mode (remember that ?)

On my car I have the P radar button next to the passenger heated seat.
This picture is off t'internet is of a LHD drive car, but I have these same buttons just the mirror image.

 

That's a pre-facelift model. My 2021 Ultimate has different button functions.
