Have you reported the error to the dealer yet? If not, do so. This is not normal behaviour and something is definitely wrong. What it is, no idea.

 

No idea either, 32k miles in mine without this happening. You need to see your dealer, this is not normal unless battery range is low enough to bring on 🐢.mode. Presume your battery % is reasonable

Dealer says the EPCU ( electrical power control unit) needs replacing. I do hope I haven't bought a lemon!

EPCU replaced, problem solved, driving transformed. I don't know exactly what the problem was with the EPCU but have since found a mention of Ioniqs having to be recalled in 2017 for stalling due to a problem with the same component

 

Well, you may have been mangling French for centuries, but I believe English is actually such a rich language because of how it absorbed French idioms. It's amazing how many nuances can be expressed just by choosing between a word of either Roman or Germanic origins,

 

Agree, English is a mongrel language taking words from around the world at will. I recall on a visit to Brussels that on the underground I could pick out and understand half the words on signs from the French and half in the Flemish version and understand. I thought I had no knowledge at all of Flemish but parts are comprehensible.
