Model X75D review

Most reviews on the X is the P90D version, so it's good to see a review of the 'base' model.

Surprised to see the instrumented tests show a 0-60 time of 5.5 seconds and 1/4 mile of 14 seconds. So virtually the same straight line performance as my old Nissan 350Z which was sold as a 'sports' car, and featured on the cover of Forza motorsport / Fast and Furious

For the 'base' version of a 6 seater, 2.5ton people carrier to match that is crazy, and for less running cost. I knew there was a reason I switched over to EVs

Cannot wait for our oversized, utterly ridiculous, totally pointless, unnecessary quick people carrier to arrive

I was thinking about Model S, done one of the events & was going to order in August but lost some work because of Brexit so kicked it into next year (going to be company car). Now hauling bikes round on a tow bar mounted rack, so I guess X is the only option as I don't fancy them on the glass roof of the S. Not seen it in the flesh yet but I really like the shape of the S. Next time I'm in Stockport I'll see if there is one there

Sat in one today at Millbrook .. All I can say is wow! I thought the interior quality was excellent. That vehicle makes one hell of a statement!

I think @gzoom you should fit some simulated rocket launcher pods on the insides of the falcon wing doors so you can open them when you stop behind BMW's etc. Sort of Klingon Bird of Prey look - now that would be really cool

I'm having the same problem - did a back to back test drive on Saturday in a Model X and Model S. Came away with my wife and 2 kids all really wanting the Model X, whereas I preferred the S - something tells me that I'm not going to win this one!!
