I have just recently bought a Vauxhall Mokka ultimate Electric 2024. I had an issue with the dealer as I couldn’t get e remote control working on the app for pre heating etc. is there another way to activate and schedule the pre heat from the car ?
vauxhall are working on a fix for this as it was different components fitted to the telematics box. They have estimated the tail end of 2024

TIA

Another way to initiate the cabin pre heat? Not that I'm aware of. Schedule via App only.

The problem appears to be Stellantis equipped the car only with a 3g interface ( I believe) ..3g is being switched off. Unless the car is parked in range of your home WiFi of course. That must be the different components you refer to.

Unfortunately not.
I'm looking for someone who did or can do now the activation in Vauxhall/Opel application. During this activation process I had information that the Car software upgrade is required and if I want to proceed now. I wanted to do it the next day, but the notification disappeared and never appeared again. Would be very helpful to get info from someone who actually performed this Car software upgrade...

And yes, E-remote is a paid service after initial 6 months.

Usually you can check on the phone app to see if an update is available for your actual vehicle.
Instructions are then provided how to proceed via PC or Mac.

For me, it worked from day one; I just needed to register, enable data sharing in the vehicle, and drive for about 15 minutes. It completed the process relatively quickly.

However, the app often doesn’t work—for example, it’s currently not working for me. It works fine for 20 days, then stops for 2 days, and then works fine again for another 20 days. If the issue is related to 3G, they should fix it, but knowing Stellantis, they’ll most likely suggest we buy a Frontera-e.

P.S. I changed the language to Polish (logged out and back in, selecting Polish instead of Croatian) and got access to two new services. I’m not sure what they mean as I don’t speak Polish, but it’s clearly some kind of advanced remote feature. We’ll see once the app connects to the car.

PPS. It seems these features are only available for the Astra, new Corsa, and Mokka models, which have a different interface.

Could you check what software you have in the car? There are 3 components with versions AFAIR.
During the activation process, did you get notification about car software upgrade? Like "upgrade will take 5 minutes and requires 15 minutes drive afterwards".

In Polish app version, the service names are still in English :). Only description is in polish. I've posted screenshot earlier in this thread.

Do you mean this?

Initially it was the same as in your prt scr, but then those additional services disappeared. However, I can still see them when I click on the "manage your services" at the bottom of the screen. I added Connect One and Connect Plus, but for Connect One, it says activation pending, even they've already charged me 5 zlotys. Similarly, I noticed e-Routes wasn't available in the croatian app, so I switched the language to Icelandic or Hungarian. The only difference is that I'm paying 4 euros per month for e-Routes (although I like them, ABRP is more functional due to OBD), whereas here I see it's priced at 4 zlotys or 1 eur.

They forgot that Croatia exists. After I added e-Routes, a colleague from Croatian forum (also a Mokka owner) contacted them, and then they added e-Routes to the Croatian version of the app.

My services are also in pending state. My guess is that they are waiting for car software update which I didn't performed. And now I just simply can't, because there is no option in MyOpel for me to do it.

About two months ago, I lost connection with the app, but since it usually came back on its own, I didn’t do anything. I waited for about three weeks, expecting it to return, but then I lost patience and created a new account, meaning I registered again with another email address (using the same personal details). The app connected within a minute, and since then it’s been working fine (remote climate control, etc.).
