I'm not sure they've released the v5 firmware for devices other than the hub yet. They want everyone to update the hub then other devices (Zappi, Eddi, Libbi).

I can't help with the specifics as I'm on the v5 beta so been through a slightly different process to get it.

Thats great, and its often best that if it is working and you dont need new features then dont mess with it. Eventually though they will stop supporting older versions (dont know when).

For me, it was draining my 'DC battery' (hybrid inverter and battery) as it was reacting too fast to changes in current and saw small dumps from the inverter as excess. V5 (beta) has fixed it, works great now.

 

That makes me feel much better! 😀😀😀

 

Have you tried to power cycle the Zappi? I seem to remember on some of the beta f/w I needed to power cycle the Zappi to get it back up and going again. Support should get you going though.

Brilliant , it all seems back to normal now after powering off. And the Harvi light has come on the hub as well. Thanks for that suggestion, I will now wait until the updates are properly available before trying again . Myenergi should have given a date on their email to me as to when the updates would be on line.

One thing still not back to normal. The Zappi appears on the app but there is no green light for it on the hub. Any more suggestions?

 

Other than power cycling, I've not had to do anything and not had it with no light on the hub, only ever green or red.

I'd suggest raising it with support or try on the ME forums - myenergi

 

I have sorted it now by switching the Zappi on and off. I then re paired the Zappi to the hub. I have been told by Myenergi that only hubs with a serial number beginning with 2 can be updated. ( which mine has) All four lights are on and green. I have no date yet for when the Zappi may be updated so will wait before attempting any further updates.

 

My hub serial starts in 1 so no update for me. I am going to get an intelligent compliant car so not an issue. I only paid £340 for the Zappi and hub from q guy on here and swapped over myself for my pod point so cant complain.

 

Serial 1 hubs are coming don’t worry. I’ve just got a new beta firmware to test on mine today in fact.

 

When is the Zappi update available?

 

I dont know personally, I'm not affiliated with MyEnergi, I'm just a normo who's signed up to do some beta testing. Dr Chris @ ME was saying he thinks the current f/w release could be the release candidate that gets pushed to everyone, so may be a in the next few days.
