I have been having counting problems maintaining connection between the app the my car. The latest problem is that after updating my iPhone to iOS16.6 I am unable to 'register' for access to the connected services. This registration previously worked, although other problems existed, and the e-remote control service is activated until March 2033. Does anyone else have this problem? I have notified Vauxhall but have not yet had a solution from them.

I covered similar scenarios for earlier version updates several times in the main thread.
Without repeating too much here what works is going into the account through a web browser and fiddling about whilst completely removing everything from the phone and in some cases resetting the car back to factory settings.
A fresh start is sometimes needed which is a pain but can do the trick, moreso if using a fresh email address too (you can set up a my vauxhall account through the web browser in readiness to use on a phone.
Their system does run a step behind itself and gets easily confused though.

It seems that quite often folk using the apple stuff benefit from earlier releases of updated apps but also have a more awkward time of it getting round silly glitches.

Just in case someone out there doesn't know, I ditched my lovely little Mokka solely because the app sucked and so do Vauxhall.
