Vauxhall has just announced a smaller model range and new pricing for the Corsa and Mokka models.

For the Corsa-e it now will only come in GS (was SRI) and Ultimate (was Elite Nav) models. Bottom model has been dropped.

Same specs apart from a toggle switch instead of the 'Cobra' controller (not sure I like the toggle switch) and you now have to use a button to activate the 'B' regen mode. Same as the Mokka.

Pricing looks slightly higher for the Corsa-e and the Deposit Contribution has dropped to £500 for the GS and £1,500 for the Ultimate models. They were £2,750.

Yeah Vauxhall's site is quoting 25 week timescale for cars ordered via the online builder. Folk's Mokka has the rocker switch gear selector. I don't mind the gear selector itself but the B mode is less intuitive as its a very small button, easy to miss when trying to activate it with eyes on the road.

The thing that came to my attention was substantially reduced deposit contributions - £1250 less. I've emailed off to dealer to make sure this doesnt affect existing orders (cant see that it would given GS and Ultimates wont be on forecourts for months yet) but no harm in checking.

Vauxhall’s timescale quotes are probably more realistic than the other Stellantis, ex PSA group brands. Both Peugeot and Citroen are quoting ~10wks for their equivalents. This hold true even form sub-models where not a single car has rolled off the line in nearly 2 months and production is paused indefinitely (ICE 2008). Vigo line 1 (2008) has produced cars for only 12 days * since mid Feb, and won’t produce a car until at least Easter Monday. Line 2 (vans) might get 8 days in a two month period.

*also only 2 of the possible 3 shifts and reduced rates when running.
