I can't see any new apps - do you have an example? Some have had minor updates, such as Dashboard was updated in May.

All the free ones I tried earlier this year were fairly useless. I might try Dashboard again, but it wasn't much use when I last tried it.

Nothing amazing but free to "purchase" and add to your account either way. Can always remove them and then re-install them later if you wish (in case they later charge new customers for them).

Maps still seem more out of date than usual (V1011 - June 2018).. I'm predicting an imminent map upgrade in the next month or two (R-Link seems to be usually exactly 1 year / 4 maps behind normal TomTom map releases... to give TT competitive edge?.. and TT has just dropped a new map, V1030 - May 2019). Wouldn't be surprised if there was a map drop in next 2 weeks but I'll give my prediction a month or two to be sure .

 

All the above have been available for a while, maybe you just didn't see them due to the old crappy interface

Frankly I can't see any new apps being developed for RLink as it is very outdated now - Rlink2 has been out since 2016 IIRC?

Edit - I think the 4/5/19 date showing is bogus as everything seems to have that date, even the old maps! And UK V1010 is old - Tomtom direct are now on V1030.

Frankly, NO. I have tried them all - some last year (eg Aquarium) when I got the car and others in January. The calculator works but it is far easier to use my phone!

I found it cr*p when I tried it back in January and I doubt it has been improved - the updated date is bogus.

I admit to downloading the aquarium when I first got the car, for novelty value, but, like the goldfish you used to win at the Fair, it only lasted a few days!
