I have just opened up a Zappi which had stopped working, I traced the power up to the front panel but no display. I removed the WiFi pcb and now it boots up. Can these be purchased?

Did you try just reseating the module a few times.
It's been know for laptops to not boot with anything from a CD drive to the HDD itself being the culprit, WiFi cards and RAM which works perfectly well when tested have also been a cause.

I always found reseating everything as the first thing to try is usually worth the time even if it just confirms the first suspicions.

The connecters don't look pristine so reseating might help.

It looks like your board has come lose in transit, and simply needs reinserting back in the GSM slot.

For those who are interested, the module uses an ESP32-VRover module with an external antenna option, it’s a very good choice.

GSM is an interesting nomenclature as that would typically mean it could accept a GSM module aka a Mobile Phone.

Lost the link there for a mo.

Found it again, not sure if it helps.
