Can someone explain correct procedure for parking and putting electronic parking brake on please? Also not sure exactly how auto hold works! New to EVs and sort of winged it driving our e-niro home today!

Auto hold (once enabled by pressing the button) will automatically hold the foot brake when you come to a stop. This means you can take your foot off the brake pedal at traffic lights for example.

To drive again just accelerate.

The parking brake is another button on your console and can be enabled when you are parked or on a steep hill start if you need it.

To disengage just drive or flip the button in the opposite direction to what enabled it.

On parking I’ve two questions and grateful for any advice.

Is there a way of turning on parking sensors automatically when going forward into a space? I find it worryingly inconsistent that the parking sensors only turn on when reverse is engaged. My previous car with parking sensors was engaged when driving under 10mph.

I’m sure I read somewhere that when reversing the mirrors would automatically tilt down, like they do in Teslas. I’ve not been able to find how to turn this on. Was I dreaming it???

I believe that the cutoff speed is 10 kph (6.2 mph) and that they all come on automatically when reverse is selected. If it isn't, you need to turn them on manually with the button.
