Considering a Polestar 4 on lease as there seem to be some good deals going. One question is whether you can fit dash cams? As there is no rear window I guess you can't have a rear view which is a pain as tailgating is a huge problem in UK. It's ironic that the rear view mirror is digital but you can't record the stream for insurance purposes.

The latest update enables it, they just need to switch it on, which I don't know what they're worried about as BMW also have it enabled on their cars that have it.
It might not be delayed for legal reasons, it could be something else. My Smart #1 wasn’t advertised with a heated steering wheel, it came with an update! Obviously the hardware was there all along, so why wasn’t it there from the start?
Had a great test drive in the 4 and 3 on Thursday. Asked about dash cams and they said that the warranty is OK as long as it is fitted by a specialist (presumably not Halfords or similar). A Volvo garage would be fine. There are external rear cameras that would fit the 4 apparently. No news on the dash cam app though.
The front dash cam is implemented now on ps4. But you need a 3 button press every time you want yo use it as you need to manually switch it on...
