Last week I had the software on my MG4 Xpower updated at the local dealer. The recall was done with the LKA updated and I persuaded them to update the infotainment system to R63 whilst it was there. The only problem is that I can no longer change the charge percentage from the screen, only from the phone app. Has anyone else had this problem with R63 or, as I suspect, have they installed the SE version of the software not the XPower or Trophy version?

I have been told by others on a different forum that it's general. Apparently, I should have been told about it before the update. I've looked at the MGEV forum but haven't found anything so far.

I can confirm that R63 charging slider is fixed by loading the FICM config via SIPS If a dealer has loaded R63 for you & charger slider isn't working then take the car back & ask them to finish the job, takes seconds to load so if they know what they're doing then 5min workshop timewww.mgevs.com
