How far does your budget extend? The reason I ask is that a Citroen C1 EV is for sale in the classifieds for about £3k or £4k (can't remember exactly). I think there's one of ebay too. I don't know much about them but they must be nicer than a g-wiz?

It is a proper car with a larger range than the g-wiz, 4 true size passenger seats and all the ride and handling benefits of normally designed car. The g-wiz, whilst having a loving following, seems a bit rough n ready and definitely one for the hardcore EVer.

Please don't buy a GWiz and put your family in it before watching this video and ask yourself if you're willing to save a few quid at the expense of safety.

Is that the same test as used by NCAP or is it a TopGear special test to prove a point? Sure the GWiz is going to be poor, but are TG just choosing the test that matches their viewpoint?

Update: Just looked up the test speeds for NCAP and the above clip appears to comply. That's a worry.
