Scheduled Charge & My Renault App

Hi,

I have an Iconic R135 Zoe 71 plate. I have finally completed the steps of getting a home charger which is an Indra Smart Pro and I've now moved across to Octopus Go.

Last night was my first test to get the car to charge between 00:31 and 04:29 but I woke up this morning and nothing had happened. I didn't actually need to charge so much so it isn't a problem.

I did set the schedule in the My Renault app and every time I tried to save it, I get the following error message "Mmm... we have a problem. Try again or contact customer support"
Does anyone have issues like this with the app? I have read it is a bit buggy!

Then when I had driven in to work this morning, I thought I would check to see if the schedule was showing up in the controls in the car, it wasn't - should it be if the app is working?

The Indra app, not so much an app but a website, seems useless really. The scheduling works on a "ready by..." system, which I don't think is very useful. I did have this blank, which I assume would just mean it charges as soon as it is plugged in, but I have also now changed this to "ready for 04:30.

I hope my babbling makes sense. I have also seen people mention about a dummy first schedule, so I have just set this up to charge 0031 to 0036 and then the 2nd schedule to do 0040 to 0429.

Any thoughts?
Thanks

Hi mate, I have the same car and also use Octopus Go.
I created a program schedule using the configurator in the car itself, not the App.
I've set everyday to the same 00:30 to 4:30am. This works for me.
You will also need to switch this back to immediate charge if you want to use public chargers.

The App is ok for telling you how a charge is progressing, but I agree it's not the best !

Hope this helps !

I've found I need to change to "always charging", press "done", then go to the calendar to schedule a charge, after which you must press "done" again. I copied my Octopus go slot to every day.

The scheduler is very buggy, obviously the coding firm thought it was an easy job and gave it to the work experience lad!

I have the same car (though a 21 plate) and did have the same issue. The trick I found was to schedule in the car itself to match my Octopus Go timings and never use the app to do anything. The delay using the app is long and as others have said, very buggy.
I have set my home charger to always charging so the car decides.

It’s the same with the temp preconditioning. Set all the programs you want in the car and just use the app if you want to give a quick burst of heat prior to travelling outside the programmed times.
