Tailgate opening height

I have recently set the tailgate opening height to this does not hit the garage door when the garage door is open. This is quite low but works perfectly. I was wondering if there is a temporary override so when I am not in the garage, I can open the tailgate fully.

I was considering setting it back to normal opening and use the button to stop the opening manually when in the garage, but wondered if there was another way.

ps the settings are in the Setup > Vehicle > Door

Once you have set the tailgate to either "Fully Open", "Levels 3, 2, or 1", or "User Defined" that is the setting. There appears no way to temporarily bypass this to fully open.
I have tried, once the tailgate has opened, to press and hold the tailgate open/close button for 3 seconds as that is mentioned in the manual. But that doesn't work and seems more to do with setting User Defined and not a bypass.

The only method I can see that might work is to use one of the levels (3, 2, or 1) and not have User Defined actually set. The manual states if this is not actually manually set, but you have this configured as the current setting, then it will open fully.
