On the Apple app it just says "Charge Your EV", with "Find A Charger" below.

 

So how do you know a site is open to all? I seem to remember, from a long time ago, that as part of setting up the app, I was asked what EV I had. Where has that gone?

 

I'm in the same boat. I suspect that once they know what EV you have they only show the SUC's that type of Non-Tesla car can use.

 

Make sure your country location is correct. I had the same issue and Tesla support had to change it for me.

 

I have the same issue and have had since an update some time ago -- like, weeks. No Tesla but it shows all sites and the "charge your non Tesla" or whatever it was now just says "charge your EV".

 

Am I missing something?! Open the app and you get this screen.

Hmmm. Just rechecked and it looks like it is now showing only those chargers available to non Teslas. Pretty sure it was showing them all last time I checked! Anyway, seems sorted now, thanks for looking.

 

Only shows ALL chargers if you have a Tesla car (VIN) registered to your Tesla account. Otherwise for “third party” users it only shows the open to non-Tesla sites.

Which is the expected behaviour.

For my sins I’ve been on both sides of the fence. Now I’m outside the tent - occasionally pissing in 🤣

 

When did you last check? Can you recall what sites were showing that now aren’t? It could have been a bug in a previous version of the app or an account glitch. Happens.

 

Now shown as "Charge Your Other EV" on the app and shows only SUC sites open to all.

Just noticed that Ipswich has now popped up on the map for non Tesla owners.

 

It's a bit random with new V4 sites. Sometimes they're ready on the app from the off, and other times there is a noticeable almost month-long delay like Ipswich.

Might pop in to see if the card readers are now working too.

The Solihull UK service centre has just gone open to all with 6 superchargers. Convenient for the M42 but fairly expensive compared to most of their other open to all sites.

Used the Dundee site on a trip to the Cairngorms. Easy, quick and relatively cheap but the cable was too short so had to occupy two bays. This was a problem as the site was empty when i arrived.

 

Quite a significant price increase on open to all Tesla chargers over the weekend 🤬 price of the monthly subscription unchanged though.
