I am with Aviva for insurance. Renewing on line last month I noticed in the spec that they have decided that a thatchhem immobiliser is fitted. I did not tell them this when I set up my new "50" last December.

 

There's a Zoe van owner joined RZOC who said if he leaves his windows open the alarm goes off, I didn't think mine had an alarm fitted, will need to try leaving a window open.

 

I spoke to Renault customer services after I posted this. The lady looked up my vehicle, ZE50 GTLine, and told.me that it had an alarm fitted. That was a new one to me... Wonder if they are part of spec now.. my old Ze40 had one fitted as an option.

 

My ZE 22kw didnt have an alarm fitted to it when I got it I could open up window , lock the door and lean in and open up door and no alarm went off. Looked on DDT4ALL , changed a couple of parameters for perimetric alarm and now when I reach in with car locked and open it from inside the (very loud) horn blasts on and off for about a minute now and can only shut up by putting the keycard into the slot on the dash.
