Timing Belt or chain?

Hi,

Just a quick question regarding mt 2012 Ampera. Does anyone know if this has a timing belt or chain? I have read different things saying its a belt and some say its a chain. At the moment my car is on 109000 miles and if its a bely I'm thinking of getting this done.

The chain will last many more years as it doesn't age. The tensioner can wear but unless you run on the ICE a lot you can forget it unless you can hear the chain rattling.
The water pump is driven by an untensioned belt and as such will hardly wear as well, especially as I doubt it has to transfer any meaningful torque.

Water pump belt gets changed at 5yr service I believe.
