The V2L is for about 2.5kW via a lead that tells the car it is supported.
V2H is very different.

 

Many thanks for responding Harry. I appreciate that they are very different things and need different supporting connectivity. But that wasn't my question. I'm trying to ascertain if my car can support V2H given the right connectivity?

 

No.

 

Define "the right connectivity". V2L can be used via a suitable inverter that will take the AC power and convert it to the correct phase, frequency and wave form. But you need to consider the cost of this and whether a full islanding solution is what you are seei.

It may not fully support V2H but given the current conditions in the UK.
V2L may still be highly useful! If we do indeed have rolling blackouts in winter, I'll be plugging my TV into the car! 😂

 

I'll be plugging my central heating boiler (gas) into it - it was put on a normal double socket as it's installed in the loft. Central heating and a couple of LED lights will do me fine during Winter blackouts

The National Grid had to turn off our power today to fix a cable. I ran the TV, Freeview, internet, fridge/freezer and kettle for a 3 hour period. The car used 3% of the battery without any issues. It was the first time I'd used it for an extended period for a real situation and it was brilliant.

 

Tempted to get the lead for camping, it would be quite handy rather than pay for a hook up especially just for the very low load stuff I take even in the family tent.
