I have just booked a service at my nearest Vauxhall garage that services the Ampera. They booked me in for this year but warned me that this may be the last year that I can get the Ampera serviced at that dealer. 
I don't know if it is just this particular dealer that has decided not to service the Ampera any longer or if it is a UK wide Vauxhall decision. Either way, it is a pretty shi$$y thing to do... sell me a £30,000 car and then to wash their hands of it just a few years later.
At the moment I have a while to consider my options but if I have to get the car serviced at another dealer it will likely be much further away than the 50 miles I have at the moment and if Vauxhall is stopping servicing the Ampera entirely I don't know what we might do.
Time to start looking for a replacement I guess... probably an ICE tbh.
