Warranty confusion on My Renault website

When I last logged onto My Renault before Christmas it showed that I could buy and extended my warranty for my 2016 plate Zoe.

Logged in today and the purchase option is no longer there!

However, it is showing the following warranties:
  • Manufacturers - 3 years ending on 30th March 2019
  • Engine - 5 years ending on 30th March 2021
  • Paintwork and anti-corrosion
  • Extended warranty - 4 years ending on 30th March 2020
So, it seems I have the 4 year warranty (great) but why can I not extended it yet?

Does yours show the same?

Cheers!

Simon

I've just logged in using our 16 plate Scenic. It shows 'loyalty packs' as available. Not seen these before, looks like they cover servicing costs but not warranty. Assume they are updating whatever they are going to offer for Zoe's, if anything.

I thought the new arrangement was that you had to renew year on year. So you are not due to renew the 2020 extension yet.

... just a guess, best to check that.

This is what I get for my 2018 i Signature Nav which comes with 3 years warranty and another year of warranty (Renault UK used car version, which is supposed to cover the same as the extended version you could buy for ÂŁ289 until very recently):
Not sure what to make of that.
AVAILABLE PLANS AND PACKS
  • 2 Years / 20,000 Miles 2018
    ÂŁ16900
  • 3 Years / 30,000 Miles 2018
    ÂŁ39900
  • 4 Years / 40,000 Miles 2018
    ÂŁ59900
  • 4 Years / 60,000 Miles Service & Warranty
    ÂŁ89900

Those are service packs and I assume you missed decimal points and start at ÂŁ169. Nothing to do with warranty.

That was a good reminder.
I have extended the warranty to a fifth year on my wife's 65 plate Zoe, so it is now covered until the end of 2020. I opted to do it by direct debit as it does not cost more than paying the full ÂŁ289 and payment won't start until the 4th year is up.
I'm not sure if it is a good idea go for servicing plans?

Yeah it was -4 I’m glad you’ve said that. I suspected it was because it was cold but I had no proof. I seem to get error messages when it’s cold or after I’ve had a rapid charge. I was wondering whether I was just imagining it.

No error messages when I finished my shift :)

I’m currently on a 22kW charger sucking at a rate of 10kW according to CanZE.
