My Zoe 50 has 5 wheen nuts (each wheel). Is this normal?
Pictures of other Zoe on here are only 4 stud.

Also what size are they? I want to replace them with nice shiny ones.
Are locking nuts needed?

Locking nuts or bolts are a choice.
There are Web sites which give wheel and bolt data but many of the places you would buy such things from will know anyway.

Looks like they are standard cone bolts M12 with a 1.5 thread. 5 stud is common for the 50.

Whatever you do, don't buy cheap.

According to wheel-size.com, Zoes with the more powerful engines, ie. 80kW/109PS or more, use 5 wheel bolts, whereas Zoes with lower powered engines than 80kW/109PS only have 4 wheel bolts. The PCD and hub center bore is also different as shown below.

4/100 60.1
5/114.3 66.1

Both use M12x1.5 wheel bolts.

22 and 40 kWh have 4 screws, 50kWh have 5 screws.
Every new Zoe came to UK without locking screws, so one locking screw per wheel was put on in UK and every new Zoe should come with the 4 displaced screws in a bag.
I’ve bought 3 new Zoes, so almost have a full set now.
