did you notice the hover text too?

 

Lots miss this. For those that cant get it to come up (seems to be variable as to whether it works on all devices) the hover over text reads "an idling gas engine may be annoyingly loud, but that's the price you pay for having WAY less torque at a standstill"

 

I have a couple of Randall Munroe's books, they are brilliantly funny, as well as thought provoking. The sort of book that you dive into for a quick read and then find you've spent an hour chuckling.

 

On touch screens, you usually have to touch and hold your finger on for a couple of seconds to see the "hover text".

On the other hand, owners have more problems using home charging supply equipment than owners using a gas pump nozzle.

Home charging always works for me. Plug in and done. No risk of putting the wrong fuel in, or spilling it, getting it on your hands, etc.

It‘s the destination chargers, each requiring their own app which are the pain - enough that I suspect many BEV owners don’t bother with them and just use home charging and rapids.
