I purchased my car well before July - and started this thread. There is no restriction on when you buy your car. All five of my referral codes have now been used. The first two packages arrived together. Just prior to that I asked Kia what the system was, and at that point delivery hadn't been fully organised, but they then seemed to order a batch for delivery and everyone got the outstanding packages at the same time.
My guess is that they are doing the same, confirming the referral when someone uses your code, but then waiting until they have accumulated a quantity of referrals before obtaining a bulk load for their distributor and sending them out. At some unknown point I am expecting a delivery of three more.

It is quite easy to strip out all the Amazon branding from the tablet. Unfortunately they don't have a GPS receiver and I haven't managed to get it to work with a USB receiver.
It is possible to use them as a monitor for an RPi with the RPi and tablet linked by their own wifi .
The echo devices make good bedroom clocks if you turn off absolutely everything but the clock. So far I haven't managed to use it as a monitor except as a web browser page.

Thank you Peter. That explains a lot, it looks like I will get my goodies sometime, I feel I should remove my code, and indeed I have removed it twice, but put it back when posters were having trouble finding code the was being accepted,
