When I tried to register in advance I couldn't get it to work. Only worked after delivery, so not sure if the dealer has to trigger something at their end.

I redeemed Mr Bigglesworth code 85753123175 at the end of December 2020
So just to give some indication of the time line from redeeming a code to delivery of the Fire HD 10 / Echo Show 5, well to Postman rang the door bell this morning 10/03/2021 and surprise, surprise, he handed me a bag containing a Fire HD 10 / Echo Show 5, no prior warning of delivery, they just turned up.

31/12/20202: Confirmation from KIA that I had successfully redeemed the code.

10/03/2021: Delivery of Fire HD 10 / Echo Show 5.

So roughly 2 months and 10 days in total.
