I think this will really help. It's a chaotic set-up there currently, cables crossing over each other. And when a space becomes available, you need to go right round the one-way system again, just to find somebody has taken the spot.

I wonder if this has significance given these are all Morrisons sites or just an aberration?
Could be any number of reasons. In some cases they don't actually need planning to do the install. Though a canopy would likely necessitate it. In other cases an external factor may have quashed things. Would be interesting to look at any of the documents or comments from important organisations. Of course it could also be internal to the MFG-Morrisons deal and their shared parent.

I expect some of these withdrawn planning applications will be resubmitted with modifications. I hope MFG is getting planning permission faster then they can install chargers, I assuming nearly all Morrisons already have enough unused 11kv capacity to the sites.

What I found interesting is that when they installed the Geniepoint at the Morrisons around the corner they ran the power from the main road and not from the supermarket. So who knows about that site.

I expect many of the stores will need new private transformers connected to their 11kv feeds to power charging clusters. If putting in a single charger it likely to be cheapest to connect into the nearest 415 volt cable.
