Clicking noises from steering or suspension?

I recall reports of this in the early days, and mine did it for a while but them seemed to stop, but has got more noticeable recently ( 27k miles), after the last service where they swapped wheels front to back. (I did check the wheel nuts were tight!)

Particularly noticeable when moving off after being parked, and more so when steering at the same time, I hear a number of metallic clicks, coming from the front somewhere. Much more noiceable when window is open - too high in pitch to be very noticeable when closed, and you don't really "feel" it.

There is no apparent correlation to what the car is doing at the instant you hear the clicks, it may do it 3 or 4 times at random places during a turn, or sometimes when driving straight. Also no obvious correlation to bumps.
Very hard to repeat it in a predictable way, so wary about trying dealer unless I can get it to happen repeatably.
Although it doesn't happen during braking, the fact that it seems more noticeable when moving off after being parked could mean it's related to the brakes having been on recetnly - I do recall some issues with brake pad mounts being reported a couple of years ago.
The fact it does it multiple times makes me think it's not something like a sticky pad, as I'd think that would happen once

You can hear two clicks clearly a couple of seconds into this video : - YouTube

Anyone else have this or know what the cause might be?

It seems to be coming from the drivers side wheel-arch.
I took the wheel off to see if there was anything obvious with brake pads etc., which there wasn't, however I did get a click when releasing the jack.
Tried various permutations of moving, jacking, steering etc. and got another when jacking up, a bit after the point where the jack was taking some load.
Not sure how significant this is - I couldn't get it to be consistent enough to try putting a finger on various parts during jacking up/down to see if I could feel any vibration.

I have the same clicks but ONLY when fully turing steering wheel left/right. Hyundai delaer response was "The car is so quiet so you notice more noises. Advised to monitor". Several other drivers had the same issues - eg. EVPuzzle.

I have now developed new cliks - very faint but reproduced every time. Like loose steering wheel. Happens with very slight turns left/right, accelerating/braking, uneven surface. Hyundai now admits (just yesterday) there is a problem with lower steering column and needs replacing some parts. Booked for Tuesday. Will post back once I see the details on report when I pick the car.

Known issue - There's a TSB for that.
And the older TSB refered to.

I just got back from Hyundai. They matched the clicking sound to a recall and ordered the replacement part, but unfortunately the person on the desk didn't have any specific details -- I'll get a call when it arrives, but it's on back-order with no ETA. They're happy for the car to be driven in the meantime.

The cruise control switch cluster will also be replaced under warranty but also on back-order: they estimate 2-3 months for that one.

Thanks @DougM . Please post the update once you have more details.
If that was "recall" the dealer should know it right away when they put car details in the system. But instead they insist the car is too quiet hence I hear strange noises which are perfectly ok in petrol cars:)
Anyway, I would like to get it fixed as well - I may need to put the document right in front of them.

Ok back from the dealer and fixed after waiting a couple of days for a part.

The guy said it was a known issue and showed me the service bulletin briefly ("I'm not supposed to show you this...") and from the image on that, and what he said, I'm pretty confident as to what the actual problem was.

There's a metal shroud that the driveshaft boot clips round ( arrowed in image), and this was rotating or moving slightly, causing the clicks as it moved within its position in the hub support casting.
The sound when I tapped this housing was consistent with the tinniness of clicks.
The picture in the TSB showed a triangular plate with a large hole in the centre and 3 fixing lugs around the outside, so presumably this was used to clamp the housing in place from the wheel side - not sure if this is an addition or a replacement for an existing bracket. (I can't see a similar bracket on the parts diagram)
The 3 lugs looked consistent with the positions of the screws visible in the picture.

Looking at the dashcam footage it took the guy about 3 hours to figure it out, clearly he'd not seen the TSB beforehand...
