Its
So, I have asked a few more questions and I suppose my only concern is that you have no idea where the monthly pice is going to end. The contract will say that they 'reserve the right to amend rates, rate structures, terms and credits with reasonable notice'. That could mean that you are stuck with either a price hike or no car at quite short notice.

This is a subscription service and most subscriptions are clear about price increases e.g. phones on an annual basis:

O2: "Each year your Monthly Subscription Charges will be subject to an annual adjustment by the RPI Rate, (which could be an increase or a decrease) and be announced in the February preceding the RPI Change, and the adjusted amount will appear on your April bill."
it’s a tricky one. I’m still tempted. It might bridge the gap for a while.

It's an interesting offer. I thought they wouldn't be new at those prices.

Is there a minimum term? I could see it could be good to have one for a month or two to see if that particular model would be suitable.

Insurance if it is included has what excess?

Do they have any idea how devious thieves are?!

No minimum term. Cars are new or up to 6 months old (the i3's are all 42kw 2019 models). Not sure about insurance excess, but I don't think they are too concerned about thieves as all the cars are trackable. You do have to use a dash cam which is provided.

I have asked a lot of questions, but it looks like there are still some more to consider.

The website says the i3 is a 2018 94Ah 33kWh model... this is also backed up by their comparison post on their blog.

Apologies if you have contacted them and they have told you they are the 42kWh models but I thought I should mention! In that case they need to update the website :p

I think that they must be behind on updating the web pages as this page says 42kw. Looking at one of the emails they sent, they have 2018 and 2019 i3. I can't imagine people selecting the 2018 then.

Ah yes. It is quite confusing. There are two different FAQs as well, one with basically no information, and one with lots. Unfortunately it's harder to find the one with lots! I sent them an email with a question I then found on the second FAQ... sorry EVezy.

Looks a great model especially as it includes insurance, be interesting to see how that works in practice if someone has lots of points of is a young driver.

We might be interested in spring until Model 3 arrives, but not sure any have sufficient range for SWMBO.

You can be too young or have too many points ;-)
This is the eligibility stuff which I presume is basically insurance eligibility:

Aged between 25 – 65
Full UK/EU Driving Licence: 3 years
Resident in the UK: 2 years
No more than 6 penalty points in last 3 years (minor convictions)
All major motoring convictions must be referred
Not banned within the last 5 years
No more than 1 fault claim within the last 3 years
All criminal convictions must be referred

edit to add: I guess you can be "too old" too... 65 a pretty low cut off really...
2nd edit: to correct double negatives

I am seriously considering this deal. I have emailed them (a few days ago) but I have not heard back yet. I'll give them a call when I get a chance. My only concern is going over the milage.
Let us know what they say. I need around 17k a year. So 2k above the 15k limit (8p charge for each mile over 12k). I'm assuming they will say you just have to pay for an extra couple of months.

Or I could drive my old ICE to work one day a week, possibly be cheaper.

Looking at the contracts now. There is a ÂŁ1000 excess if you have an accident and the dash cam shows that you are in the wrong.

I think that it looks really interesting as a model, but at the same time, it is the first step to being monitored 100% of the time. They track the car, they can monitor when you open and close it through the app and the dash cam has a visual capture of your behaviour. Its more than a black box for 17 year olds.

I haven't had an accident, so I am vey low risk. But, I can imagine that in this car if someone hit you and you were above the speed limit, you'll be paying ÂŁ1000.

I'm not sure if I want to go Big Brother yet, but it is where we are heading with driverless cars, so perhaps its just time to embrace it?

Why bother paying for the EV rental if you have an insured, fossil fuel car sitting around? The cost of fuel must be less than renting a new car?

Yes, it's a fair point. Currently looking at and trying to calculate all options. The ICE is 18 years old and a 3.5L V6 which does 22 mpg. My commute is 70 miles. So that would be close to ÂŁ18 a day in fuel costs I suppose.

An electric vehicle makes the journey much more pleasent. So I'm prepared to pay a little more for the comfort and convenience. Financing my current leaf is probably going to be the best option I guess.

I have got some more information. The keyless entry works by holding the details on your phone app, as long as you access the web on the app every 24 hours. This sounds OK, but I would like to see a video of someone using it.
What does "access the app on the web" mean?

Does the app require Internet connectivity with the car, or does it use Bluetooth/private wifi between car and phone? The latter solves the "underground car park with no signal" issue?

So apparently, you need to connect the app to the web every 24 hours. I assume that this will mean that you open an app on your phone when it has wifi, 3G or 4G. Then it 'holds' the key in the app for 24 hours, so you can open and close your car easily. That's what they have said, but I would like to see it used or get some feedback from users.

There are no videos of this in action and I can't see any discussion of users online. To be honest, I am surprised that the company has not been discussed on this forum in the past.

So they drop the vehicle off or do you have to pick it up from somewhere as I'd happily have a pop at the Zoe 40 for a month at that price. Ideal if it was a Q version but hey I could settle for an R with 1/3 more battery capacity than I currently have

Its collection in Birmingham or North London I believe. Or they will deliver for a price.

IMPORTANT:

If anyone goes ahead with the EVEZY subscription, remember to post your loyalty code on here as you will get ÂŁ50 and the next person will get ÂŁ50.
